Our sweet little rockers...

Some of our good friends gave us the drums for the game RockBand (they are letting us borrow the game and the guitar). This has been a HUGE hit with the boys! Brady wants to play "the big drum game" as he calls it- all the time. This is not one of the better videos we have of Bennett playing the guitar, but it's still cute. He can really get into his rocking out sometimes! What is even more amazing is that Reagan can manage to sleep through it all (at times). Thanks so much to the Stancil family for introducing our family to the world of RockBand!

What we've been up to...

I feel like I can't seem to catch a breath lately to blog. I just thought things would slow down after the holidays, but we always seem to add new things to our plate to keep us busy. For those who don't know, my New Year's Resolution is to save money- seriously save money. Mainly by slashing our grocery bill. I've always clipped coupons, but not until recently did I discover the true value of a coupon! But saving money takes time. I guess as I do it more I will get faster at it. I love it- it is so exciting to challenge myself each week. I'll try to blog later about my progress. I'm keeping track this year of my spending and saving so I can see my final numbers at the end of the year. Hope everyone else has had a great year so far and are keeping all of your resolutions!

Last week we went to the Mcwane Center to see Curious George. They look extremely thrilled, but they really were excited. Bennett kept throwing his hands in the air and saying "yaaa George!".

Our friend, Genna, coloring after seeing George.
Bennett's favorite place-the water table. This is my least favorite place in the Mcwane Center, because Bennett thinks he can drink the water and try to climb in it. This causes such drama!

Reagan and her future boyfriend, Andrew.

Over the weekend, we went to Gordo to visit Pop and Gran Gran. Saturday, Bennett and Reagan stayed with Pop and Gran Gran while Eric, Brady, and I went with Uncle Tom, Aunt Bek, and some new friends Maria and Tomas to see the Broadway musical 101 Dalmations. Just let me mention that I got these tickets for FREE, well I had to pay $3 for a processing fee, but come on!! I am so into this saving money thing! The musical was really good, and Brady had a great time. I was so proud of him for sitting through the whole thing.

Finally, we're back...

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! We sure did, but it was very busy. We are finally starting to put away all the Christmas stuff and unpack bags. It was so much fun to celebrate this season with 3 little ones. Brady was really in to everything concerning the holidays this year. Seeing their little eyes light up on Christmas morning was priceless. But we also discovered this year, the need to instill the true meaning of Christmas in our children. With the busyness and presents it can be easily lost. We started the tradition this year of having a birthday cake for Jesus, and it really seemed to hit home for Brady because in his words, "I loooovvveee birthdays!".

Here are just a few pics of Christmas morning! The boys got a ball pit (it was mainly for Bennett because balls are his second love- food is his first).

Reagan was super excited!

Does he look like a true hillbilly or what! This child is so funny!

Their other big present was a hummer. It is pretty cool! They love it.

Poor Bennett. Too much fun. This was how I found him when I went to the playroom to check on him.

I'll post more pics later from the rest of our holiday fun.
