Sometimes all you can do is Laugh

I was on the phone with a friend today and feeding little Reagan when I heard something drop in the kitchen. I went in to find our little troublemaker digging in my purse, and what did he decide to get into but my lipstick! He had it everywhere. The pictures really don't do the mess justice. I couldn't really get mad because I should know by now that if I haven't seen Bennett in about 5 minutes that he is up to something. So I had to take pictures-when I got out the camera Bennett started saying CHEESE. What are we going to do with this child...

It is amazing how things can go so wrong and then you see this picture and your heart just melts all over again. They were coloring, talking, and playing so good together. I just have to say I love these boys SO MUCH!

Our Thanksgiving Day

We hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We traveled to Momo's house in South Alabama for a wonderful day with a lot of family!! There were a lot of people to visit with and a lot of food consumed that day. Check out the cute turkey shirts that my friend Eve made for the kids. They were definitely Mama's little turkeys!

Here are a few of the great grandkids.

And here are some of the grandkids. The rest of them left before we could get a full picture.

Four generations (don't worry Momo-we'll take another one to get your eyes open!)

Thanks Uncle Tom for entertaining the boys- too bad you probably don't have any hair left!

Eric, Reagan, and I headed out on Thursday night to spend the night in Montgomery so we could do some Black Friday shopping. Reagan was loving the king size bed at the hotel!

McWane Center

Yesterday we went to the McWane Center. This was my first outing with all 3 kids by myself. I must admit that I was a little bit nervous about the event, but at the end of the day I learned one thing- I can do it!! My friend, Eve, and her precious babies, Genna and Andrew, met us there, and we all had a great time. The train exhibit is now at the McWane Center and it was a huge hit with the boys. Of course, Bennett wanted to ride the Choo Choo, but amazingly he didn't pitch a fit when he couldn't.
Sweet little Andrew- he was such a good boy.

Genna and Brady watching some of the trains- they really were cool!

A match made in heaven!

This was Bennett's favorite activity- playing on the train table. I finally had to drag him away from it.

Reagan, my sweet little angel, was such a good girl!

Two little train conductors.

Running as fast as we can down the piano keys.

Such great teamwork! I'm telling you these 2 are meant to be together! Bennett had just gotten through drenching himself with water from that tall cylinder that Brady is holding. He attempted to drink water from it and he got a face full! It was hilarious- wish I had gotten a picture of that.

Taking everything in...

or Reagan's look could have been at the scene we had at our lunchtime adventure. Eve and her kids left, so we decided to go eat our lunch I had packed. Everything was going great. The boys were eating and Brady was telling a lady at the table all of our business. For all of you Auburn fans, Brady told her- "we don't like Alabama, we like Auburn". I was hoping this wouldn't offend her, but secretly I was proud of my boy. That brain washing is really paying off! Anyways...so I looked over at my precious Bennett and noticed that of course he started gagging on his food. Something was stuck to the roof of his mouth and of course the strong gag reflex he inherited from his daddy took affect and he proceeded to start throwing up. I was holding Reagan, so I put her in the stroller and tried my best not to look around at I'm sure all the people who were disgusted by the entire event. Oh, did I mention we were sitting at the front table at the very end in the cafeteria- front and center for everyone to lose their appetite. Well I cleaned up as best I could and jetted out of there without looking back (don't worry- I did tell someone who worked there that they were going to have to disinfect the high chair).
So besides the pukefest and a couple of fits Bennett pitched, we had a great stress free time. Thanks so much to Eve, Genna, and Andrew for meeting us to play. We'll have to do it again soon!

A Little Late- First family Auburn trip

Our internet was down the first of the week, so I am just now getting around to posting about our first full family trip to Auburn last weekend. We wanted to be able to take the kids to a game this year, but we also knew what an adventure it would be- and it truly was! Gran Gran stayed at Uncle Jeremy's trailer and kept Reagan, but she still got all dressed up in her first Auburn cheerleading outfit to cheer Auburn on. We wanted to get some pics of the kids and the family before we left Jeremy's house, but once again our attempts did not produce great results...

Reagan started crying as soon as we started the pictures, so Bennett, our other little attention getter, started fake crying. That kid is trouble, but he is hilarious!

Mama and the most precious Auburn cheerleader ever!!

Uncle Jeremy and the boys on the bus ride to the game. Brady loved riding the bus!

Bennett started out doing great at the game. The band was out on the field, and he was clapping along.
Cool Dude!

Bennett's favorite pasttime- eating. He saw what everyone else was eating and proceeded to pitch fits trying to get to it. He made it until about half way through the first quarter in the stands and then he and I had to go strolling around the corridor. He's not quite ready to enjoy watching football!

Brady got to see Aubie- very exciting! Brady was also a little celebrity and got his face on the jumbo-tron screen. This is his second time in his life to be a star at Auburn!

Mama and her boys!

Too much excitiment for our little BB- he sacked out, until...

we got back to the car, and then he was raring to go again.

Brady got a little too close to the pond (you can see it in the picture behind Eric) and he sunk in the mud. His shoes and pants were filthy! He was not happy about it at all. I was trying to get a picture of him and he was saying "no mama, don't take my picture, I'm all muddy!"

He's trying to show us his muscles.

All in all, we had a lot of fun and made a lot of memories. This is the first of many trips to Auburn for the kids. On the way back, Bennett decided to give us one more memory- he gagged himself and threw up all in his carseat. It was awful!!!! I don't know if his carseat will ever be the same again.

Halloween

We had three little animals in our family on Halloween this year. Brady was a dinosaur, Bennett was a monkey, and Reagan was a kitty cat. They all looked so cute! It's hard to tell just how cute they looked from the pictures we attempted to take of all three of them. Reagan was not very excited about the whole dress up thing.

Bennett was giving a little bit too much "monkey love" to Reagan. He really was trying to help her stop crying.

This was the best one of all 3 of them, even though none of them are looking at the camera.

We had a Trunk or Treat at our church. This was our trunk. I had to throw it together at the last minute. Eric and I figured that a zoo theme was appropriate this year because we feel a little like zookeepers at times.

Brady and Bennett enjoyed playing the Fishing Hole game. Bennett didn't really play- he just flung the fishing pole around.

Who knew dinosaurs loved suckers!

Sweet little Monkey!!

Brady playing Turkey in the Straw

Eric and Bennett didn't know I was catching them in the act of enjoying some candy.

Reagan slept through pretty much the whole evening. So precious!!!

The Zookeepers with their monkey and dinosaur.

It was kind of cold and there were a lot of people at the Trunk or Treat, so we kept Reagan in her stroller the whole time. But we had to get her in the family picture.

Bennett trick or treating with Daddy and Grandma.

Posing for one last picture. Brady had such a great time. He was so excited to be a dinosaur. I didn't get a picture of his tail, but that was his favorite part of his costume. He kept wanting people to see his big tail!

Thanks to everyone who helped make our Trunk or Treat at Bethany so great this year. It was a lot of work, but we had a great turn out. The Lord definitely receives all the praise for such a wonderful event!
